Word Soup is a wordsearch game with a tactical twist. Create words by connecting the scrambled letters. Each word submitted is removed from the grid and the letters above fall into the gaps. By tilting your device, you can slide the tiles left or right and strategically move letters to create longer words.
In Timed and Relaxed game modes, you score bonus points if you successfully clear the grid of all letters. No mean feat!
The starting grid is randomly generated, so no two games are the same.
Word Soup features 3 Single-Player Modes:
- Relaxed, for stress-free fun.
- Timed, to test yourself against the clock.
- Brain Game, where long words mean survival.
and 2 Two-Player Modes:
- Tit for Tat, for a quick turn based challenge on a single grid.
- Its Blitz!, where each player has 90-seconds to max out a grid.
Local highscore tables track Longest Words, Best Words, Highest Scores and more. Word Soup also features Game Center Leaderboards & Achievements.

Been playing this game a long time. Never get tired of it. Its Fun & makes you think. Good one.
My opinion never changes, I still enjoy playing to better my score.
Always my favorite word game since it used to be called Puzzle Word way back when. Little different on the iPad, but still awesome.
Some bad moments
I found this game on my old Kindle in black and white and I loved it there. When I received my new Kindle Fire I was so disappointed that I could not play it on this new device. I had so looked forward to playing it in color! I searched the Internet for news of this great game! I checked the Apple Store. Nothing! Then years later, AppAdvice featured it as a new game!!!!!! Yea! I was so lucky to see it!! I had given up! This game is challenging, fun, perfect! I highly recommend this game! It is the perfect game to fill in those little moments when you just want a relaxing diversion. Love! Love this app!
For less than a cup of crappy coffee u get hours of entertaining wordplay. Unique and more clever than the simple word games out there.
A challenging and relaxing way to spend a few minutes in a hectic day. Great to be able to come back to it when its convenient.
I just wish it was available on my Kindle Fire or Kindle Touch. I have to play it on my iPhone which is not as preferred. If it were available on my other devices I would give this game 5+stars
